Lustrous and strong while still maintaining loft, this is a great yarn for really showing off stitch work. Has a nice soft wearable feel, and at the same time a nice luster and strength that comes from the mohair. Excellent drape. Takes dye colors beautifully.
"Oro" is the Spanish word for gold. This color was inspired, not by shiny gold, refined and ready to make into jewelry, but by the untouched mineral found in this mountainous area. The Spanish came here to find this precious stone and even today gold is still coveted for its beauty.
