#824 Wensleydale/CVM Lamb Fleece *Whole Fleece*
This is a truly lovely fleece, great staple length and wonderful luster. It is a cross between a fine wool CVM and a long wool Wensleydale and it really is the best of two worlds. It combines the lofty wearable softness of the CVM with the strength and luster of a Wensleydale to bring something totally unique. Unfortunately this girl does have a little bit of weakness in her fiber, but she has a very clean fleece with just some few pieces of larger vegetable matter here and there. She will have to be processed with a bit more care due to the weakness of the fiber, but the yarn will be absolutely stunning and well worth the effort.

We like our animals to have space to roam, so all of our sheep are left out on pastures during the year and only penned up when babies are young. Cactus Hill farm is a multi-generational family farm and we strive to be good stewards of our land of and of the lives we care for. All of our fleeces are skirted and the most yucky parts removed. We blanket as many of our ewes as possible so that we can offer you the most premium wool possible.
