#00381 CVM/Wensleydale Fleece
This is a really amazing fleece. Great length and really unique fiber. This particular cross is so exciting because it combines the wearable fineness of a fine wool breed with the luster, strength and personality of a long wool breed. One of our favorite yarns comes from this unique cross. This naughty ewe did manage to pick up some finer hay and vegetable matter, but with some extra care this fleece will wash out to be a gorgeous, shiny white.

We like our animals to have space to roam, so all of our sheep are left out on pastures during the year and only penned up when babies are young. Cactus Hill farm is a multi-generational family farm and we strive to be good stewards of our land of and of the lives we care for. All of our fleeces are skirted and the most yucky parts removed. We blanket as many of our ewes as possible so that we can offer you the most premium wool possible.
