#521 CVM/Merino Whole Fleece *Whole Fleece*
These fleeces is a lovely lofty and soft fleece. It is almost a true dark, with some bleaching on the tips. This naughty sheep did unfortunately get a lot of hay in her wool, so it will take a bit more work to clean. Unfortunately she is an older ewe and her wool is a bit weak, it is not broken, but for sure will have to be processed with care. This fleece will make amazingly soft, lofty and yarn. It will also be a great fleece to make felt.

We like our animals to have space to roam, so all of our sheep are left out on pastures during the year and only penned up when babies are young. Cactus Hill farm is a multi-generational family farm and we strive to be good stewards of our land of and of the lives we care for. All of our fleeces are skirted and the most yucky parts removed. We blanket as many of our ewes as possible so that we can offer you the most premium wool possible.
