About the event
Want to know how to take wool from the sheep and proceed on the road to your beautiful finished creation? One of the most important steps is the scour. How hot to make your water, what kind of soap to use, how to dry the wool, how much to scour at one time? Jacque Hart, former owner of Hartline Scouring, where she processed 40 thousand pounds of wool a year in a four-bowl scouring train, will take you through two processes in order to get just the results you are hoping for.
Join the two hour session on June 14 from 2-4pm. Cost of class is $10.00. There will be fleeces for you to purchase and bring home to start your journey to the beautiful pieces Cactus Hill Farm wool will be sure to inspire. Wear clothes you don't mind getting splashed on and bring lots of questions. Hope to…
