About the event
October is the month of Halloween and we have some great costume suggestions! Become a Rumpelstiltskin, or a spinster, or Sleeping Beauty (that girl didn't know how to stay away from a spinning wheel! This we understand well!)
On October 17th from 1pm to 4pm, at the Cactus Hill Farm Tiendita, we can help you really transform into these characters by giving you the skill to spin wool into yarn!
Join Meghan, The Camel Chick, as she teaches you how to turn wool into yarn, first on a drop spindle and then on a wheel. Wheels are limited so make sure to sign up and if you have your own wheel bring it along!
Cost of the class is $35 and comes with 2oz of wool to learn to spin with. You can purchase more wool at the Tiendita. Light snacks and tea and coffee will be available.
